What we collect and how

When you ask us for a quote or get in touch, we collect the details you choose to give us — typically your name, phone number, postcode, the service you’re interested in and any job details you describe.

Our quote form does not store anything on this website or send it to a server of ours. Submitting it simply opens WhatsApp with your details pre-filled, so the message is sent only when you choose to send it. You can also reach us directly by WhatsApp, phone or email.

Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use your details solely to respond to your enquiry, prepare a quote and carry out any work you go on to ask us to do. Our lawful bases under the UK GDPR are taking steps at your request before entering into a contract, and our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries and running our business. We do not use your data for marketing and we never sell it.

Who we share it with

If you contact us through WhatsApp (including via the quote form), your message is handled by WhatsApp, provided by Meta, under WhatsApp’s own privacy policy; Meta may process it on servers outside the UK under appropriate safeguards. Phone and email messages are handled by our telephone and email providers. We don’t share your data with anyone else except where the law requires it.

Cookies and analytics

This website does not use cookies, analytics or any tracking technologies.

How long we keep it

We keep your enquiry only as long as we need it to respond and provide any work you ask for, plus any period we’re required to keep records for legal, accounting or tax reasons. After that we delete it.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or provide it in a portable form. To exercise any of these, email us at akromisltd@gmail.com. There’s no charge, and we’ll respond within one month.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we handle your data, please tell us first so we can put it right. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO), the UK data protection regulator:
